Buy low price Cenospheres with floating rate more than 98% Improve thermal and acoustic insulation in buildings and refractories application.

Cenospheres are lightweight, inert, hollow spheres made primarily of silica (SiO₂) and alumina (Al₂O₃), typically produced as a byproduct of coal combustion in thermal power plants. When coal is burned at high temperatures, the non-combustible materials melt and form small, gas-filled spheres that are then carried out with the flue gas. These are later collected from fly ash.

Key Properties:

  • Low density (0.4–0.8 g/cm³)

  • High compressive strength

  • Thermal insulation

  • Chemical resistance

  • Float on water (due to hollow structure)

  • White or grayish-white in color

Common Applications:

Construction:

  • Lightweight concrete and plaster

  • Insulating materials

Oil & Gas:

  • Drilling muds

  • Cementing slurries

Automotive & Aerospace:

  • Lightweight composites

  • Fillers in polymers and rubbers

Paints & Coatings:

  • To reduce weight and improve thermal properties

Plastics & Resins:

  • Used as fillers to enhance performance

Benefits:

  • Reduce material weight without compromising strength

  • Improve thermal and acoustic insulation

  • Enhance workability and durability of construction materials
